In the penultimate episode of season 1 Haley discovers some "nasty women" in Nathan's browser history, Deb is signing her divorce papers in a halter top, and Brooke and Peyton make up on a makeup run to the mall, with baby Jenny in tow. Little do they know that Nikki is lurking in the shadows, ready to snatch Jenny at the first possible chance, sending the Tree Hill mall cops into a tizzy and Jake ready to run for the hills of Savannah. Meanwhile, Lucas discovers that Dan wasn't always a total piece of shit when, many moons ago, he tried to get shared custody of Lucas, but Karen told him to instead get lost. Lucas is confused and Keith feels betrayed, dumping seventeen years of life regrets onto Karen. 

Will Haley ever forgive Nathan for his porn habit? Will Jake really run away with baby Jenny? Will Lucas really leave Tree Hill?
